GARDEN / COMMUNITY FARM
Developed with the aim of promoting awareness and training of residents, in addition to assisting in environmental education, encouraging the minimization of waste production, recycling and composting, producing healthier food, without pesticides, initially meeting the demand of the community itself in order to reduce food costs within the community; and secondly, selling the surplus production, and with that, generating profits that will be directly invested in the training and expansion of the project.
The vegetable garden, in addition to being important from a nutritional point of view; works as a form of occupational therapy, in improving people's consumption habits, in the economy of families and even in maintaining and/or improving health and preventing diseases.
