SANITATION
Basic sanitation has to be implemented in a structural way throughout the community, because the absence of it is the matrix of several evils.
According to data from the UN and the World Health Organization, studies of several cases have already shown that for every 1.00 USD spent on basic sanitation, 4.30 USD are saved in the health area. In Brazil, examples such as the city of Campo Grande / MS, (see chart below) prove that the drop in the number of hospital admissions for diarrheal diseases is directly related to the growth of the sewage network, in an inversely proportional way, proving the data that the WHO indicates in their studies.
