Establishment of a Laboratory for advanced studies on pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites responsible for diseases.

The Complex will be responsible for supervising, identifying and investigating biological agents with the aim of creating diagnostic techniques, vaccines and therapies for diseases.

With state-of-the-art facilities and absolute biosafety, classified as NB4, the Laboratory Complex will allow for unprecedented experiments to be carried out in fields such as health surveillance, the identification of high-risk pathogens, the search for vaccines, diagnostic methods, the treatment of diseases and epidemiological strategies.

All discoveries made will be made available to the public, since the purpose of the Complex is humanitarian and non-profit.
